The second instalment of our online pedagogical experience with a live online learning forum on the sacred concept of the ‘Divine Destiny’ as found in all African sacred knowledge systems.
We will be watching the lecture ‘Divine Destiny & African Spirituality’ to open a discourse on why this idea is a core aspect in each cosmological knowledge system and its practical functions. With a deep-dive across traditions, ancient and contemporary across geographical locations, we will explore the modalities used across different communities to harness this ‘principle of purpose’ to guide an individual’s life path.
Its potential for guiding a purpose-driven life remains as useful today as it has for millennia, and we also delve into the techniques identified and practiced in some traditions to raise one’s consciousness of their own spiritual-double, coded with the blueprints of one’s destiny(ies) in this current form and version of life.
