You’re probably reading this article as you too have experienced the phenomena of seeing repetitive number sequences constantly!! Don’t worry you’re not going crazy and you’re not alone. In fact many people have been experiencing this across the globe for several years now. The numbers can appear in various forms, for me the most common sightings are 11,22,33,44,44,55,444,1111 and they can vary in sequence too such as 1441, 1515 etc.
My personal experience with seeing these numbers started around 12 years ago when I started seeing the number 11 EVERYWHERE! Literally every time I looked at the clock it was 11 mins past the hour. I would experience this several times a day and found that I wasn’t intentionally looking for it, but whenever I happened to glance at the time it would be for example 2:11, 3:11,11:11 this phenomena was not just limited to the time either, it could could be anything such as seeing the number 11 bus or paying for a bill and having the total appear as 11.
It was so frequent that it became abundantly clear that it was not a coincidence. When I told people at the time they thought I was crazy but at that point I was already convinced that there was something much deeper at play so I didn’t worry about others believing me. I remember looking it up at the time and and discovered that people globally were experiencing the same thing and that the number 11 was symbolic of people experiencing an ‘awakening’.
In my own personal spiritual journey at that time I had recently started calling on my ancestors. It wasn’t something I had previously done before but I was introduced to this wisdom by someone I had just met. She said that our ancestors are always around to guide us but we should be actively calling on them asking for their protection and guidance. Prior to that I had no knowledge of African spiritual practices, but her words resonated with me and I felt compelled to learn more.
Within a few weeks of doing this I started noticing the numbers. I quickly came to the conclusion that this was my ancestors way of ‘getting my attention’ and ever since then I called these sightings ‘ancestor time’ and thanked them when I saw it. Once I made the connection of this being a form of spiritual communication I soon started noticing spirit communication in other forms as well. Suddenly, I became much more aware of symbolism and found that nature took on a new meaning as I became very in tune noticing when certain animals and insects would appear in my life and was able to observe the messages they were passing on.
Now that was my experience and I know that most people probably didn’t call on their ancestors but they are still are experiencing the same thing so I always advise people to look into their lives to see what was happening to trigger this experience. In my case I reached a time in my life where I started to question reality as I knew it. The veil of lies were being unpeeled like an onion and I was on a mission to dig deeper for truth. I was going through a process of unlearning and relearning as I started to let go of old beliefs that I had been conditioned to believe. I became disillusioned with the construct of the modern day world and instinctively knew that there was more to this existence. It was at that time that I started seeing the numbers. I believe that spirit communication has been happening my whole life but I wasn’t attuned to recognise it.
So what does it mean?
Ultimately these sightings are sign of becoming conscious of the true nature of reality. Which is basically that there is more to this physical reality. The fact that you even notice the recurring numerical communication indicates a shift in your focus and your frequency has changed. You are now able to notice the subtle communication which previously would have been unnoticed. In your personal life you may have started introducing practices such as yoga or meditation. Or started researching about spiritual practices, or simply just starting to questioning the world whether news, politics, social constructs ect.
Whatever has led you to this point it is clear you are being spiritually communicated with and the numbers are catching your attention and alerting you to become more aware of your own intuition. Many often ask what does it mean when they see a particular number sequence and there are various sites online which speak on ‘Angel Numbers’ and what they represent, however each will have varying information on what the numbers mean. Whilst, we all may be experiencing shift in consciousness , I personally feel that spirit communication is a unique experience, so if you do experience a sighting it is important to go within to work out what that particular message means to YOU. Take note of your environment, your thoughts/emotions at the time. What does your intuition say about your experience that will be your guide.
The numbers ultimately remind us that our focus needs to shift. They also serve as a catalyst to remind us to go within as the challenge now becomes not to simply notice the sign but to work out what is being said and that is a personal journey which one actively needs to work on. Whether you believe this communication is from ancestors, angels, arch angels… whatever! It should act as a prompt to start taking your spiritual development more seriously as you start to realise your own potential to impact your outer reality.
